Enjoy private and luxurious living -1 block off Main St. Blowing Rock. Walk to all BR Town events, great shopping, incredible restaurants, Memorial Park and its Concerts, Art in the Park, Broyhill Park, Robbins Swimming Pool-1/2 -1 block walk. Farmer's Market, Chetola, Bass Lake, Historical sites- all -just a short walk. Multiple 4.5-5 star spas closeby. Fly fishing, Snow Skiing, Tubing, Zip lining, Vineyards, Farms, Festivals, Mining, Kayaking, Hiking, Biking, Horseback riding, Beautiful venues for events, all within a few minutes drive, and so much more.
After a full day of BR fun, while others are dealing with traffic, you walk home to enjoy a cocktail on the front porch. An ample wine cooler offers space for a great selection. Perhaps a chill has already set in so that cocktail might be enjoyed with a cozy throw alongside the firepit, or a dip in the spacious hot tub, on the lower deck. You might begin to smell dinner on the grill which offers gas or charcoal cooking. Top dinner off with organic herbs (in season) planted next to the grills. Enjoy dinner on the upper deck, while the sun fades into an incredible glow behind the mountain. If traveling with smaller Dreamers, you might return to the lower deck for firepit fun of s'mores. A full day of fun for little ones probably means a quick bath upstairs in the warm jacuzzi tub is likely to guarantee their cozy night's sleep. Then settle in for a movie, a good read, a game/puzzle, and relaxation by one of 3 fireplaces. Mattresses and linens have been chosen with meticulous priority and options. After a great night's sleep, grab your comfy oversized robe (2 per room) for a quick trip to the coffee/hot chocolate/beverage bar in the upstairs hallway. Fix your morning drink of choice, check the weather for the day, grab a book (authored about Blowing Rock), before returning to bed for a little more rest. Ready to catch your favorite morning news? Relax in bed watching your 55" tv. Ready to start your day? Alexa is happy to update you and provide music while you enjoy your private bathroom and dress. Make plans to enjoy and explore the long list of fun and activities available in the High Country. A notebook of brochures and information is ready to flip through to see the almost endless options.Make your way to breakfast, where the sub zero refrigerator stores your cold breakfast, Mr. Coffee or Keurig coffee can bring on the warmth. The assortment of quality cookware (including omelette pan) means anything is possible on the gas Wolf oven/cooktop/grill. Grab more fresh organic herbs and head to the deck to watch birds,(regular and humming), chipmunks and an occasional groundhog while enjoying breakfast and fortifying for the day. Smoothies and waffles (Mickey Mouse or regular) are easy to make using the array of small appliances.
Days spent in Blowing Rock melt away - like a wonderful dream. So many activities, events, surrounding towns, and landmarks mean there is always a list left for next time. Occasionally, "real life"-like laundry -enters in. No problem! Two sets of washers and dryers make it possible to whisk that off your list in a hurry. Downstairs is a full laundry room, wash tub sink, and rack to hang dry. If you brought along a small furry family member, the washtub is handy for bath time. (Shampoo, towels, grooming tools, pet dryer, etc is available upon request, subject to availability). The upstairs washer and dryer is tucked into the Master Bathroom (handy for dirty clothes and use while doing other things). Speaking of the Upstairs Master Bedroom suite - here is a little secret ... before you enjoy that tub soak and Master shower rinse, throw your towel and robe into the dryer. Stepping out of the shower to a warm towel and "heated" robe almost guarantees the BEST night's sleep or cozy way to start the day!

A soft robe by the fire, luxurious throws galore, quality linens and towels to enjoy before a great night's rest upon carefully selected mattresses, plenty of golf umbrellas - just in case - table linens for chili on the deck or more formal in the dining room, a coffee station and cabinet refrigerator upstairs, and charging stations throughout. We always welcome suggestions of something our guests enjoy that we might not have thought of. In today's world of chaos, the serenity, beauty, peace, kindness and Hallmark-like existence, is magical. It restores the soul. It is my pleasure to share this with guests from far and wide. WHY DID YOU CHOOSE THIS PROPERTY
I did not choose my BlowingRockDream or its location - clearly and absolutely God chose it for me. My lifelong prayer and Dream was to have a little cabin in the woods, but He answered spectacularly with my BlowingRockDream.
